10:15 AM: Spoken Sanskrit in the 21st century: Mr. Giri Bharatan

 

10:30 AM: Sanskrit in North America: Professor Arvind Sharma (McGill University)

 

11:00 AM: Keynote Address ("Rasa and Sanskrit aesthetics"): Professor Kutumba Sastry, Former Vice-Chancellor of Rastriya Samskrita Sansthan and Somanatha University

 

LUNCH

 

2:30 PM: Series of short lectures (participants thus far: Janaki Raman, Sharada Varadarajan, Naresh Cuntoor, Sanjay Kumar)
