Dr. Bakhle is an assistant professor of modern South Asian history at Columbia University, with a focus on the cultural, social and political history in the eighteenth to early twentieth centuries. She is currently completing revisions to a book manuscript on Hindustani Classical Music, Nationalism and Colonialism. She received her Ph.D in history from Columbia University. |
