Introducing Rachael Hickson:
Rachael comes to us from Rochester, NY, and is new to the Philadelphia area. She graduated from the University of Buffalo with a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology. She was a part of her school’s Bollywood and Bhangra teams and continues to enjoy all forms of dance. She has studied at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco, and the Jordan Language Academy in Amman, Jordan. Rachael is passionate about intercultural communication and has a professional background in educational programming as well as corporate events.
Rachael welcomes anyone to stop by the office and introduce themselves!
At SAC and SASt, Rachael will help coordinate operations, events, and programming such as the South Asia Center’s Outreach Program; promote SAC and SASt’s work at campus events and classes; and manage communications.
