K-12 Resource: Virtual International Classroom Comes back this September!

Learn about world cultures past and present as you interact with Archaeology & Anthropology Experts and World Culture Educators—all without leaving your home or classroom! Virtual International Classroom (IC) workshops provide learners of all ages with opportunities for global learning and intercultural conversations.

World Culture Educators

Learn more about a country directly from a person who lived there! This series provides very personal student interactions with educators from around the globe.

Archaeology and Anthropology Experts

Our Museum-affiliated scholars share their experiences in the field through visuals, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions.

Virtual Workshops

Grades: PreK-2, 3-5, 6-8

Museum educators provide a live Museum-themed lesson in real time, covering topics such as mummification and daily life in ancient Rome. Our virtual workshops are designed to engage students through inquiry, object analysis, hands-on activities, and demonstrations. For more information visit our Interactive Virtual Learning page.

Technology Requirements

Connect without the need for special equipment or extra downloads! After you schedule your program, you will have access to technical support from our staff.

While we can connect on any digital platform, the Penn Museum continues to offer secure virtual spaces with one-click connection to most internet-supported hardware, such as video conferencing systems (H.323), laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
