Roopesh Dinakaran

Roopesh Dinakaran is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences studying South Asian Studies and Neuroscience on the pre-med track. He is the current Student Worker for the South Asia Center where his responsibilities are to manage the social media platforms, marketing, and help out with the center's programming. Outside of the South Asia Center, Roopesh is the logistics coordinator for Penn's Hindu & Jain Association, a dancer on Penn Dhamaka, a writer for Penn Healthcare Review, and does research in neurosurgery related topics. He loves to help out with the Tamil community and volunteers for the Tamil Association of Greater Delaware Valley. When he's not doing any of these activities, he also enjoys listening to music, playing volleyball, hiking, singing, and watching Tamil films.
