As part of a duet exploring the theme of longing for the homeland, Shaily Dadiala and Boston-based Irish dancer/choreographer Kieran Jordan, along with Celtic musician Haley Richardson, demonstrate their respective styles of classical Indian Bharatanatyam and Celtic Sean-nós dance. 

The demonstration will be followed by a discussion with Swarthmore professor Pallabi Chakravorty focusing on the historic connections between South Asian and Celtic immigration patterns.
