The focus of the conference will be on pedagogy -- how to integrate, concepts, ideas, methods, techniques, examples, comparisons and illustrations into various general education and other courses for the benefit of students who are not likely to major in international or areas studies.

The main objective of the conference is to provide teaching and learning and unique insights to an interdisciplinary group of faculty members (non-specialists) so that they can: a) get cutting-edge information; b) integrate cultural, social, historical, political, economic and contemporary aspects into several courses; and c) assist students to overcome stereotypical images and help them to adapt and succeed in a dynamic and highly interdependent global economy.

To be specific, individuals who will serve as experts to the conference will explore key issues and emerging trends.  It is expected that our consultants, based on their living, working, research, teaching and other experiences in India will also provide authentic and up-to-date information on the topics listed in the program and material content on teaching styles.  Participants will be able to leverage knowledge gained to improve the curriculum and incorporate new knowledge and information gained into various humanities, social science, education and other courses.
