Foreign Language Area Studies Fellow, Mary Khan, MSEd candidate in International Educational Development at GSE participated in a 'Mother Language Day' video put together by the US Embassy in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She utilized her Bangla skills to answer questions for a video highlighting the importance of preserving and developing Bangla as a language in South Asia. #InternationalMotherLanguageDay is an initiative from Bangladesh & was proclaimed by UNESCO in 1999.
