Moder Patshala is a West Philadelphia organization that offers an after-school program with homework help, college admission preparation, a place for adults to receive ESL classes, and parent counseling. It provides children with school supplies and caters to the needs of the people.
Students of all ages from kindergarten through high school go to Moder Patshala for help with schoolwork and language difficulties.
The teachers and volunteers help families communicate with schools. They have games and activities during holidays and school break periods designed for everyone to have a good time and build community.
Moder Patshala is a place for Bangladeshi-Americans to celebrate their culture and be together. All are welcome.
