Columbia South Asia Review (CSAR) CALL FOR PAPERS 

Columbia South Asia Review is a bi-annual open accessed, peer-reviewedundergraduate online academic journal based out of Columbia University. It is a representative international scholarly forum that focuses on furtheringknowledge and understanding of South Asia through the promotion ofoutstanding undergraduate research from both the social sciences andhumanities. 

We invite all undergraduates and recently graduated scholars to submit full-lengthresearch articles for its first web-based volume, to be published in Spring2016. Any author may submit up to two articles for consideration. 

Submission guidelines and further information 

Length: Articles, double-spaced (12-point font, preferably Times New Roman),including all references, should not exceed 30 pages and the style shouldconform to that outlined in the Chicago Manual of Style, 16th Edition (Universityof Chicago Press). 

Coversheet: Include the following information on a separate sheet- Title of the Research material- An abstract of no more than 300 words- Your full name, academic institution, and e-mail address. 

Bibliography: Each article should include a complete bibliography section of allworks cited. All citations should be in the Chicago-Style, see Chicago-Style QuickGuide for examples. 

The editorial board reviews all submissions anonymously. In order to avoidconflicts of interest in the selection process, remove your name and otheridentifying information from all document pages except for the cover sheet. 

The deadline for submission is February 15th, 2016. Please send yourmanuscripts or questions to submission.csar@gmail.com. The authors will benotified on the acceptance by March 1, 2016. Articles must be original andhitherto unpublished.
