Storytelling and the Media

Attention Penn students: Join us for a storytelling workshop and explore the new media landscape with the Pulitzer Center!

April 16, 11:30-1:30 Lunch provided!

This workshop will focus on how to tell authentic and self-aware stories about the places you'll travel to or the organizations you work with this summer and beyond. It will get you thinking about how to capture individuals' voices and document issues, whether for a personal blog, an organizational website, a media outlet, a tumblr post or most any other piece. Featuring:

Tom Hundley, Senior Editor & Penn Alum

Alice Su, Journalist based in Amman, Jordan (via videoconference)

The Campus Consortium partnership between Penn's Middle East Center & South Asia Center and the Pulitzer Center is a partnership featuring programming to foster broader discussions and nuanced analysis of concerns that span disciplines, from journalism and business to law, religion and public health. Check out our International Student Reporting Fellowship opportunity.  This event is co-sponsored by the Annenberg School of Communication and the International Relations Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
