  • Who: Rashmi Kumar is a learning specialist in STEM disciplines and works at the University of Pennsylvania. She focuses on STEM pedagogies and curricular designs that engage students across a range of learning preferences. She is continually exploring and identifying technology tools that strengthen learning in STEM disciplines. In her work with Penn students, Rashmi develops active learning for diverse groups of learners to participate in multi-disciplinary concepts and to demonstrate competency in STEM disciplines. Currently, she is in the midst of developing technology enabled curricular modifications for students with differentiated learning needs in an emerging economy. Dr. Kumar was recognized as a STEM Teacher Educator by the NASA Endeavor Project in 2011. She has many years of experience in developing professional development programs for pre-service and in-service teachers. Several of her publications and conference presentations are anchored in teacher preparation and the use of technology in K-12 classroom
