Holi, the popular and enduring Hindu festival of colors, is a joyous celebration of spring, the harvest, love, and the triumph of good over evil. It also commemorates vivid Hindu legends featuring Krishna, Vishnu, and other gods and mortals. Join artist Soumya Dhulekar as she live illustrates the story of Holi in real time right before your eyes. A special guest will narrate while Soumya brings the legends to life with her unique and playful illustrations. Prepare to be dazzled by the incredible story of one of the world’s most beautiful festivals.

Soumya Dhulekar is a US-based illustrator, born in Mumbai and raised in New Jersey. You can see her work in Catapult Magazine and in Drawing Power, winner of the Eisner Award for Best Anthology and listed as NYT’s Best Comics of 2019. Her work is also distributed by Maamoul Press.
