His multifaceted practice confronts time and place through the language of popular culture. Kallat will discuss his art and how it informs his vision as Artistic Director and Curator of the upcoming Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2014, India's newly-instituted, large-scale international contemporary art exhibition.
